“I’m so glad that I chose Dr. Ho for my eyelid surgery. I have struggled with having a double eyelid on one side and slight crease on the other side since I was kid. So it was something I did a lot of research on when I first decided to get surgery. I only saw great reviews about Dr. Ho on every website I went on, so I decided to have my surgery with her. When I had my first consultation with her, I told her about my friend who had incisional double eyelid surgery and that was what I wanted. She examined my eyes, informed me about the different types of eyelid surgery, and told me what I needed was non-incisional surgery for just my one eye. I loved how honest she was about it even though I first came in with thoughts of getting incisional eyelid surgery. I was really nervous going into it, but she was always so reassuring. After I was done with surgery, I was literally shocked at how even my eyelid was compared to the other one. They literally look the same and there’s no difference whatsoever. She was super nice and also very professional whenever I went to go for a checkup! She really cares about her patients and I recommend her to anyone who’s looking into double eyelid surgery. I’m super happy about the results and no one can even tell I got surgery done.“

“A family member referred me to Dr. Ho. She’s a really great doctor! I had my thermiva treatment done twice with her. She explained about the treatment thoroughly, took her time to answers all my concerns, and she’s very honest when I asked her about opinions. In the beginning it was kinda awkward and uncomfortable but she made me very relax during the treatment. I will come back again next year for my 3rd treatment after my trip.“

Before going to Dr. Ho, I had double eyelid surgery from another doctor a year ago. I was very unhappy with the results because it was not much of a difference from my original eyes. I came across Dr. Ho on YouTube from a blogger that recorded her double eyelid journey with Wave Plastic Surgery. Her results were AMAZING so I booked a consultation soon after. Dr. Ho is very sweet and was very thorough as to what the outcome of my eyes will potentially look like. I felt very comfortable with her throughout my entire process and had no problems. It’s been 5 months since my eyelid surgery and I could not be any happier with the results! Since it was my second surgery, I was afraid I would run into some complications or just end up looking worse. That was not the case at all and I’m SO thankful for Dr. Ho. I get compliments all the time from family and friends saying how natural my eyes look. It’s only been a few months so I can only imagine how much better they will look at one year! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ho she is amazing at what she does and she makes you feel at ease. I really wish I had known about her my first time getting eyelid surgery!

“She’s absolutely great. She has a great attitude and is very professional. My treatment was Eyelid Surgery – specifically upper blepharoplasty. Dr. Ho ensures the whole process goes smoothly. At first, I was concerned that my eyelids were cut unevenly but after the swelling subsided, they were perfect. The inner cut began to swell and wasn’t healing evenly so she gave me a steroid injection that helped smooth it out. I love my double eyelids. “Dr.Goretti Ho was highly recommended to me by my church friends. I then read some really positive reviews about her on Korean plastic surgery blogs so I decided to go in for a consultation at Wave. During the consultation,Dr.Ho was professional, honest and not at all pushy like some other plastic surgeon I’ve met in the past. I complained that my face had aged and I looked gaunt and tired and she recommended an endoscopy browlift, lower eyelid surgery and fat transfer to my face. I’m now almost 2 months out of my surgery and I feel completely rejuvenated ! My features look a lot softer with the fat transfer and I don’t look as haggard after the browlift and eyelid surgery. All my friends think I look at least 10 years younger !!! I highly recommend Dr.Goretti Ho to anyone who is looking for a talented plastic surgeon with a great aesthetic sense. “I had an upper blepharoplasty for sagging skin on my upper eyelids. I am 47 and feel that I’ve aged pretty well except for my eyes making me look tired — and yes, probably older as well. When I first started thinking about this procedure I looked on RealSelf to get an idea about the procedure and how people felt about the results after getting it done. I sifted through dozens of reviews and photos of the procedure. Watched plenty of youtube videos of people who had the procedure. I was ready to get it done but knew that the most important thing for me was to make sure I felt confident in the physician I chose since this was my eyes (or eyelids) that would be operated on. What caught my eye about Dr. Ho was that it appeared from all the reviews that she had quite a lot of experience doing blepharoplasties — both Asian and Caucasian patients. I wanted a doctor with experience. I also was looking for plastic surgeons who worked on the face and not specifically oculoplastics. Since my procedure was fairly straight forward, I wanted someone who would be able to view my facial features as a whole and make recommendations. When I had my consultation I met with Dr. Ho. I liked how she came off straight forward and down to earth and skilled at what she did. I also liked that she had an excellent educational background and training. At the end of the day it was the fact that she had so much experience with upper blephs and what I felt was an “eye” for how to do the procedure and make it look good and natural. Fast foward 6 weeks, and I am very happy with the results. I look refreshed and like myself only more awake and yes, probably younger as a result. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ho. I believe she is honest and ethical. You don’t have to fear that you will are going to get additional procedures you don’t need. She is good at what she does which is the most important thing. I would trust her with other procedures as well if I needed or wanted to get something done because I have confidence in her ability and intellect that she knows what she’s doing. It’s very important that you trust your doctor, and this is what I felt and thought when I met and spoke with Dr. Ho.“

“Jane As the Wave Plastic Surgery Consult, she made sure to be present to check in with me during every transition of my process including both pre op consultations, the day of surgery, and my last day in LA. She went over all the legalities, what to expect for treatment and care, and upfront with the pricing breakdown. She provided her contact info if I had any questions at any point through the process. She was great! Dr.Ho Taghva Having a complicated health history, I the better part of a year searching for a plastic surgeon that I could trust. I researched on doctors who not only had an artistic eye, but who would also take the time to monitor my health throughout the process – Dr. Ho Taghva was that doctor. As an out of town patient, she was very thorough and concise during both my consultations (one via Skype and another in-person the day before surgery); it was blatantly obvious she had done the procedure numerous times and had lots of experience. I trusted her judgment without hesitation. Both Dr.Ho Taghva and Jane notified me on what to expect in the following weeks post op and included a packet with a write up of all the information pertaining to the procedure. They made it clear not to hesitate to contact them if I had any further questions during my recuperation time, which I greatly appreciated. The day of surgery, Dr.Ho Taghva took the time to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed all throughout the process – I felt nothing other than a subtle tug once around my eyelid. My post ops went smoothly, wherein Dr. Ho Taghva inspected my eyes and notified me of any expected symptoms during the healing process. I made sure to follow the post op instructions to a T. The last day in LA I had my stitches removed and Dr.Ho made sure to explain in detail the steps for proper care, instructing me on post op treatments (Kenalog shots + massage). She even provided me with her email for a 1, 2, and 3 month follow up for photos, questions, and updates; which I truly appreciated. My eyes have healed just as Dr.Ho said they would. A couple of months post op, they look wonderful!“

“I have had several treatments with Dr Goretti Ho Taghva. Mostly filler injections such as Juvederm and Voluma but I have to say I had wonderful experiences and resurface and every time. I am a 51 year old white male and had lost serious volume in my cheeks. Wasn’t sure about any kind of plastic surgery or fillers and was very sceptical about getting anything done. After my consultation with her I went ahead with the procedure because she made me feel comfortable and assured me I that I had nothing to worry about.
